Alone with Jesus at HomeAlone with Jesus at HomeAlone with Jesus at Home
I scream and yell at you, And pretend that I know what you will say, But you never hear a word. And that's how it will always stay.
For if I say those things, I bet that you'll get mad. You see I'm not the same happy girl, Instead, she's upset and sad.
She thinks the world is falling apart, In her very own home, Because the tempers are rising,
And that she's all alone.
She knows she's not completely alone though, Because Jesus is there, And that no matter what, He will always care.

Silent Screams of the HeartSilent Screams of the HeartSilent Screams of the Heart
The pain is building up, I let it trickle out. On this stark-white paper, So that I don't blow up and shout.
Even so, it doesn't help much, For it is only temporary. I have friends I could tell, But, what their reactions could be, is just too scary.
So instead of saying, The things I need and want to say, I writ it all down on this paper, And to the Lord I pray.
He is the only one, Who has known me from the start. And He is the only one who hears, My silent screams of the heart.
